Diane's Incentives and Class Schedule

Editor’s Welcome
Managing Mrs. B’s Salt Creek RV Resort, my vacation/vocation, continues and is a lot of fun.  The beauty of nature surrounds us; fox, squirrels, and lots of birds visit us regularly.  Our local bear (affectionately referred to as “Yogi”) has my maintenance man, Matt, and I  in a contest for control of the garbage dumpster.  Yogi and I did meet one night, much in answer to my wishes, he ran but we did connect. So, suffice it to say, this is a real adventure.
Welcome back to our newsletter; please notice that it covers more than the usual 3-month period. There’s a lot going on, a new 5th wheel trailer, plans to go to Washington for Christmas and to North Carolina for the Birth of our daughter, Ashlee’s, 1st baby in January.  So we are spread a little thin.  Please enjoy the newsletter, and visit us at our NEW web address: www.serenitynews.net.

Diane’s Welcome

We had a wonderful summer and enjoyed seeing some of our west coast friends and family again.  I am looking forward to Christmas this year as my brother and my sisters will be together for the first time in years over a holiday.   We will be sitting around the campfire at hunting camp, while Uncle Johnny, and his son, Johnny Roy, play their guitars and my brother, Roger, plays the spoons and who ever else wants to join in :-).    My oldest daughter, Maria and her husband,  Joseph just bought their  first home and we are very proud of them.  My youngest daughter, Ashlee, is going to have her first baby at the end of January.  Jeffrey and I just purchased an Alfa fifth wheel and are still amazed at the turn of events.  I had been researching for many months and finally made a decision on what I wanted (was always changing my mind) and Jeffrey agreed.   To manifest it, we wrote it down in the form of a story.  I called on an Alfa in the local newspaper and the length was  to long (we thought).  A week later on a Saturday we went to an Alfa RV dealer in Medford, OR and realized that we did want the longer unit and the man from the newspaper had exactly what we wanted.  That evening, I looked all over for the newspaper and couldn't find it - so we went to an RV show in Sacramento, CA on Sunday and  didn't find anything.  That evening when we returned home the newspaper was in plain site (imagine that).  I called him and we went and looked at it the following morning.  He was going to put it on consignment and gave us a week to come up with financing.  The same day we were approved for financing, he agreed to cover the sales tax and deliver it to us.     Once you have made a solid decision from your heart,  follow through and get out of your own way - your manifestation will appear :-).  Please note the Incentives, Specials and Changes section this quarter.

Wishing You Blessings During the Holidays....With Love,
 Diane

With Love, From Serione'

is a time of renewal and restoration after the periods of energetic reflection you have experienced over the last 8 months.  Many are now undergoing emotional wrap-up.  Dealing with that which resides within and without in the form of emotional and external attachments which no longer serve you.  Your feelings are surfacing for acknowledgment, acceptance and release.  Practicing avoidance will create intensity on all levels and it will be in your face.  Your weather patterns have increased in frequency and ferocity and will continue to do so.  The act of nature is scrupulous in its endeavors of cleansing the old. We ask that you pay attention to your perception, where stagnancy dwells.  Are you living in passion or do you live each day in struggle?  Creativity and playfulness encourage passion to unfold as a flower in bloom.  As fears arise walk through them.  With each step you take  the illusion of fear begins to deteriorate and the momentum of faith begins to accumulate.  The Harmonic Convergence that you speak of is a great part of this energetic monopoly.  It is the aligning and blending together of all life seen and unseen.  The language of your body will express the desire for  balance and grounding.  When it requires rest, rest it;  when it craves, feed it. Your animals will show signs of  nervousness and unusual behavior.  It is temporary and will pass.   The dawn of the new year will offer unsurpassed freedoms with movement  toward heartfelt desires. Opportunities will be forthcoming with every heart that is open, willing, and allows the process to unfold.

We wish you ease and grace
during this momentous time,
 Serione'

Teddy Stoddard Story

This story was e-mailed to us, but if you search on www.google.com you will find it all over the net.  One attribution was also from the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" book series.  Whatever the source, fact or urban legend, this is an inspirational tale, please just enjoy it.

As she stood in front of her 5th grade class on the very first day of school, she told the children an untruth.  Like most teachers, she looked at her students and said that she loved them all the same.  However, that was impossible, because there in the front row, slumped in his seat, was a little boy named Teddy Stoddard.  Mrs. Thompson had watched Teddy the year before and noticed that he did not play well with the other children, that his clothes were messy and that he constantly needed a bath.  In addition, Teddy could be unpleasant.  It got to the point where Mrs. Thompson would actually take delight in marking his papers with a broad red pen, making bold X's and then putting a big "F" at the top of his papers.  At the school where Mrs. Thompson taught, she was required to review each child's past records and she put Teddy's off until last.  However, when she reviewed his file, she was in a for a surprise.  Teddy's first grade teacher wrote, "Teddy is a bright child with a ready laugh.  He does his work neatly, has  good manners and he is a joy to be around."  His second grade teacher wrote, "Teddy is an excellent student, well liked by his classmates, but he is troubled because his mother has a terminal illness and life at home must be a struggle."  His third grade teacher wrote, "His mother's death has been hard on him.  He tries to do his best, but is father doesn't show much interest and his home life will soon affect him if some steps aren't taken."  Teddy's fourth grade teacher wrote, "Teddy is withdrawn and doesn't show much interest in school.  He doesn't have many friends and he sometimes sleeps in class.  "By now, Mrs. Thompson realized the problem and she was ashamed of herself.  She felt even worse when her students brought her Christmas presents, wrapped in beautiful ribbons and bright paper, except for Teddy's.  His present was clumsily wrapped in the heavy, brown paper that he got from a grocery bag.  Mrs. Thompson took pains to open it in the middle of the other presents.  Some of the children started to laugh when she found a rhinestone bracelet with some of the stones missing, and a bottle that was one-quarter full of perfume.  But she stifled the children's laughter when she exclaimed how pretty the bracelet was, putting it on, and dabbing some of the perfume on her wrist.  Teddy Stoddard stayed after school that day just long enough to say, "Mrs. Thompson, today you smelled just like my Mom used to."  After the children left, she cried for at least an hour.  On that very day, she quit teaching reading, writing and arithmetic.  Instead, she began to teach children.  Mrs. Thompson paid particular attention to Teddy.  As she worked with him, his mind seemed to come alive.  The more she encouraged him, the faster he responded.  By the end of the year, Teddy had become one of the smartest children in the class and, despite her lie that she would love all the children the same, Teddy became one of her "teacher's pets."  A year later, she found a note under her door, from Teddy, telling her that she was still the best teacher he ever had in his whole life.  Six years went by before she got another note from Teddy.  He then wrote that he had finished high school, third in his class, and she was still the best teacher he ever had in life.  Four years after that, she got another letter, saying that while things had been tough at times, he'd stayed in school, had stuck with it, and would soon graduate from college with the highest of honors.  He assured Mrs. Thompson that she was still the best and favorite teacher he had ever had in his whole life.  then four more years passed and yet another letter came.  This time he explained that after he got his bachelor's degree, he decided to go a little further.  The letter explained that she was still the best and favorite teacher he ever had.  But now his name was a little longer.  the letter was signed, Theodore F. Stoddard, M.D.  The story does not end there.  You see, there was yet another letter that spring.  Teddy said he had met this girl and was going to be married.  He explained that his father had died a couple of years ago and he was wondering if Mrs. Thompson might agree to sit at the wedding in the place that was usually reserved for the mother of the groom.  Of course, Mrs. Thompson did.  And guess what?  She wore that bracelet, the one with several rhinestones missing.  Moreover, she made sure she was wearing the perfume that Teddy remembered his mother wearing on their last Christmas together.  They hugged each other, and Dr. Stoddard whispered in Mrs. Thompson's ear, "Thank-you Mrs. Thompson for believing in me.  Thank-you so much for making me feel important and showing me that I could make a difference."  Mrs. Thompson, with tears in her eyes, whispered back.  She said, "Teddy, you have it all wrong.  You were the one who taught me that I could make a difference.  I didn't know how to teach until I met you."

Readers' Digest
A mother was teaching her 3 year old daughter the Lord's prayer. For several evenings at bedtime she repeated it after her mother. One night she said she was ready to solo. The mother listened with pride as she carefully enunciated each word right up to the end "Lead us not into temptation" she prayed, "but deliver us some E-mail, Amen."

Excerpt From the "funny things kids say books (www.funnykids.com)
As the Farmer family was sitting around the supper table, Jennifer, 5, who was in kindergarten at Faith Christian Academy, turned to her brother, Andy, 3, and pointed to her dad.
"That's not your real father," she said, startling the whole family.
"Yes, he is!" Andy replied.
"No, he's not!" Jennifer insisted. "God is your heavenly Father."
Then again pointing at her dad, she said, "That's your homely father!"

Ice Cream is Good for the Soul
The following article I borrowed from a website called www.totallyofftherecord.com.  It is intended to make you laugh, and to make you think. Please visit www.totallyofftherecord.com for more reading like this, excerpts from official reports, and just plain odd tales from people's work, its worth the laugh.

Last week I took my children to a restaurant. My six year old son asked if he could say grace. As we bowed our heads, he said: "God is great and God is good. Let us thank him for the food. And I would even thank you more if Mom gets us ice cream for dessert. And liberty and justice for all! Amen".
Along with the laughter from nearby customers, I heard a woman remark, "That's what's wrong with this country. Kids today don't even know how to pray. Asking God for ice cream----why, I never!"
Hearing this, my son burst into tears and asked me, "Mom, did I do wrong? Is God mad at me?" As I held him and assured him that God was certainly not mad at him, an elderly gentlemen approached the table. He winked at my son and said, "I happen to know that God thought that was a great prayer."
"Really?" my son asked.
"Cross my heart," replied the man. Then with a gesture indicating the woman who started this whole thing, he whispered, "Too bad she never asks God for ice cream. A little ice cream is good for the soul sometimes."
Naturally, I bought my kids ice cream at the end of the meal. My son stared at his for a moment and then did something I will remember the rest of my life. He picked up his sundae and, without a word, walked over and placed it in front of the woman. With a big smile he told her, "Here, this is for you. Ice cream is good for the soul, and my soul is good already."

REASON FOR HOPE

58 years ago, a war ended.  A war against a tyranny so vile that humanity will forever use the name Hitler to equate to evil incarnate.  But here is a little shocker, Hitler was the perfect man to fulfill his mission, and he did so perfectly.   Stalin it would turn out was as amoral/evil (or more so) as Hitler.  Turn the page; 58 years later and we are hunting for a man, every bit as amoral-evil as Hitler or Stalin, and again I say, he too is perfect.
In these despots we have the perfect mirror on the collective soul of human civilization.
But, it is truth that "Evil" is a relative term, and as we grow spiritually, more and more previously acceptable behavior becomes "evil" in our view.  Also as we grow it occasionally becomes necessary to knock people of good conscious off of their complacent Butts and remind them of just how much hate, greed and malice there still is in this world.
So why is this reason for hope as the title implies?  Good question.
Look at human history, 200 years ago the norm was for nations to conquer, the weak.  Rape and pillage was still common practice.  This is the age when our nation, designed by enlightened founding fathers, was born; created to set a new standard.
Now I will say this, we haven't yet risen to meet that standard, but were getting closer.   And the world in whole has come a long way, towards more enlightened forms of civilized rule and order.
America has committed evil, off-course, take for instance our terrible treatment of the native American people.  But then we started out with treaties and agreements that no other nation would have likely even given a thought.  While our nation broke its promises, it did not openly pursue genocide, and slavery of the Indian people.
Slavery was another terrible evil,  which nearly ripped the nation apart, and yet it is no longer tolerated, though it is still practiced today, in secret.  Intolerance of slavery is a relatively recent achievement in the course of human social evolution.
In this age of extremely accelerated technological and cultural change, its easy to loose sight of the tens of thousands of years it took us to get to 1945, and the fall of Hitler.
20 centuries ago, the prince of Peace was killed horribly to show us a new way.  A few centuries later a humble but pious "camel trader" would become the "Seal of the Prophets" for a religion whose followers now rank in the millions.  Long after Christ's "good news" was revealed, Mohammed was raised in a world where infanticide was still common place; female infants were routinely buried alive.  In Mohammed's day women were often valued less than livestock, and treated as such.  In those days in Arabia, feudal wars raged on ceaselessly, with each new attack bringing on new hate and revenge and spawning even more violence.
Centuries after their transition to spirit, these greatest  Icons of peace, would have their teachings corrupted for evil.  Holy wars and crusades in God's or Allah's name  fill our history books.  However, though it still occurs it isn't even close to the scale of such things a few centuries ago. Today's Jihads of middle east hardly compare to those of times past.
Today in general, enlightened ideas are becoming more and more mainstream.
In a recent interview on NBC's "Today"  show, about her new book, "Out on a Leash" , Shirley Maclaine makes a great point.  Interviewer Matt Lauer, made a comment about some of her "fringe beliefs" from "Out On A Limb" and she pointed out rightly, that a lot of them are now more mainstream.  Survey after survey shows more folks believe in extraterrestrial life.  Past lives (reincarnation) is a commonly understood concept.  Spiritual beings (I.E. angels, guides etc..) are more believed in now then ever before the industrial age.  Not bad considering the headline "God is Dead" once heralded a new age of selfish humanism.
So as you see Humanity going through its growing pains, take heart.  We've come a long way Baby", and the outlook is good.
Over the past few months, we passed through an incredible astrological event.  Alignments such as Pluto retrograde, Mars in closest proximity, and in retrograde, and mercury retrogrades, all occurring in such a way that it is a wonder man kind didn't blow itself off of the face of the Earth.  Had these alignments occurred in the early 1960s we would have certainly destroyed ourselves.  But we weathered this well.  The reason is that the stars do not control us, they only exert an influence.  That influence can catalyze negative events, by  bringing negative energies to the surface.  But as we (humanity) evolve  spiritually, we are less inclined to allow those influences to control us.  We are becoming more spiritually mature, and that my friends is very good news, and reason  for great hope.

First, it is ridiculed.
Second, it is violently opposed.
Third, it is accepted as being self-evident."

Diane's Client Testimonials

"I met Diane after my mother (who lives on the opposite side of the US) had a session with her. Diane told my mother about one of her daughters (described me) who was having some medical issues. Diane then proceeded to tell my mother about some medical issues I had just learned of and some I didn't know about yet! Needless to say, I scheduled an appointment with Diane for that week.
She has been a huge help to me and my family--including our four-legged members. For instance, one cat was jumping of the second story deck--regularly. Diane let me know why and I made the proper adjustments and the cat hasn't jumped since--the cat is now happy as a clam. (I think if I put Diane's phone number on speed dial, my cats would call her regularly--thank heavens they don't have thumbs!) I am so grateful that Diane has chosen to share her gifts with us. Thank you, Diane.
A childhood friend of mine and myself decided to take a weekend workshop with Diane. I went to NC from California and my friend came from Texas. We made a weekend of it. I personally think this workshop should be mandatory for every human on the planet. To be able to see how our thoughts effect each other (an exercise measuring someone's energy field while the group sent good thought and again while we sent negative) was amazing. And that was one of the exercises we did over the two days. I walked away with a better understanding of how and what we create in our own lives and the power we each have to make our lives and world better. I highly recommend this workshop for every one on the planet!"
